Genesis' First Bites of Baby Food :)

This is a video of Genesis taking his very first bites of Gerber 1st Foods Purees [Banana flavor] on Tuesday, January 12th, 2010. He took it pretty well for the first few bites, but wasn't enjoying it as much as he did his Rice Cereal. So after I took the video, I mixed the Bananas with the Rice Cereal for a little bit of both tastes and textures. He doesn't really seem to wanna sit up in the high chair too much, either. But he didn't do too bad. :)



Side Note:: The camera goes in and out of focus pretty bad, so I apologize for that. If i could ever figure out how to get the videos off my REAL camcorder I'd be set!

AND:: don't mind Daddy playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in the background... sounds pretty violent lol

Happy New Year!

For Genesis' first New Years Celebration, I took him to the Vogt's party for a few hours [where he got this adorable little hat] and then we came back to Kevin's dad's to watch the ball drop. [which we ended up missing by running upstairs to watch it with Tom && Sharm and they had a comedy special on instead hehe] The second photo [which was taken on my phone] was him watching the confetti fall on the big screen in the basement.

Thumb :)

As cute as it is, I try to keep his thumb/fingers out of his mouth as much as possible. He has a tendency to stick them in a little bit too far and make himself sick. He hadn't been sucking on his thumb until a few days ago when I spotted him actually discovering it to be a convenient alternative when he loses his pacifier.

Cereal

I finally got a good shot of him eating his cereal like a big boy! He does so well with the spoon! He will open his mouth for the spoon and he gets all excited and kicks his feet! It is SOOOOO cute!
